Packing Tips
As with any tropical vacation, please make sure you pack appropriately. While the beach is very close by, Tulum is still a jungle. Please bring bug spray or whatever insect repellent is most effective for you. The sun is also very strong here and while the hotel sells sunscreen, it's expensive so please make sure to bring sunscreen. If you plan to snorkel or visit any of the centoes that are native to the region, please make sure your sunscreen is reef safe!

A valid US Passport is required for entry into Mexico. Please triple check that your passport doesn't expire within 6-months of your travel date or it will be invalid.
Also, be sure to check the hotel's restaurant dress codes in case of extra attire needed. At Secrets Tulum, all restaurants require long pants, closed toed shoes and shirts with sleeves for men. Please plan accordingly. While cash is optional, if you wish to tip while staying at an all inclusive property or to pay for a taxi, please plan to bring small bills.
